About the Role: We are looking for a Global E-Commerce Lead to join our team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic guidance of our E-Commerce sales channel. The Global E-Commerce Lead function will be part of the Marketing team and be responsible for D2C management, ecommerce retail strategy, optimization, and overall growth of the business. This person should be motivated to build capabilities and will make a significant impact within an exciting consumer driven industry and team.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our Appleton East facility in Elkton, MD, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending on the responsibilities of the role and business needs.


Responsibilities:
  • Embody our “why”: to make tools that inspire musicians to create, express, and connect throughout their musical journey
  • Direct the end-to-end development of new D2C ecommerce site including demand generation, feature improvements, and conversion strategies
  • Oversee site optimization - including, but not limited to, site stability, enhancements, changes, troubleshooting, and resolution in partnership with 3rd party vendors
  • Manage e-commerce retailer channel strategy (i.e. Amazon) and develop yearly integrated marketing plans inclusive of target consumer identification, competitive analyses, merchandising, rewards programs, and promotional plans
  • Responsible for the creation, development, and execution of all SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), affiliate, re-messaging, new acquisition and retention programs to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Lead business analysis of consumer and business metrics, maintain and improve models for predicting lifetime value, repeat rates, and other measures of consumer behavior
  • Support innovative and impactful strategic marketing initiatives to generate a best-in-class consumer experience
  • Guide all aspects of roadmaps for cross-functional global teams and coordinate activities across internal and external resources
  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive rapid, profitable growth in the ecommerce retail channel, and achieve sales and margin objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, analytics, or related topics
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in launching products and/or ecommerce platforms direct to consumer OR a minimum 3 years' experience in marketing and/or sales, with solid experience in managing ecommerce platforms (i.e. Shopify, BigCommerce...etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and/or executing rewards/incentives programs or other demand generation strategies
  • Proven experience working in a cross functional environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing analytics, i.e. consumer and market research, along with volume, price and profitability, trend analysis, and program-effectiveness including ROAS
  • Knowledge of and desire to continuously learn of new emerging technologies in the ecommerce and digital marketing space for continual site improvement
  • Ability to position products and services in an exciting and consumer-driven way
  • Ability to focus on results to keep improving ROAS while scaling marketing spend
  • Self-reliant and results oriented with ability to work independently and experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Prior experience working with a company or brand in the music industry
  • Prior experience working with Amazon, Walmart.com or other big box retailers

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
